Wolseley searches the world for the best products at competitive prices. Our Global Sourcing Programme aims to standardise quality and improve product availability and choice. This has involved creating a family of low-cost, high quality brands, including own brand products, sourced from all over the world.
We are currently rolling out our Common Supplier Strategy for Europe and recently signed a number of international agreements with suppliers. Our European businesses are also working to develop a more coordinated look across national boundaries.
In every way, Wolseley seeks to leverage its global presence and establish supply contracts on a global level.
Over the last 15 years, Wolseley has expanded into 12 new national markets in addition to our original strongholds in the US and UK. It all adds up to the same global reach as Wal-Mart.
