Our Customers

Customer retention is key to the Wolseley plans for sustained growth. Although our trade customer profile on two continents is now similar, it is still important to view both markets separately.

Our customers in North America are primarily large home builders, followed by professional tradesmen (e.g. plumbing and heating installers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, builders and carpenters), Government departments and local authorities, utility companies, mechanical contractors and industrial users.

Our customers in Europe are dominated by tradesmen (e.g. plumbing and heating installers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, roofing specialists, builders and carpenters), followed by home builders – large and small, Government departments and local authorities, utility companies, mechanical contractors, and also some DIY enthusiasts.
