Our distribution teams ship products directly to customers
The mechanics of the supply chain start with our suppliers manufacturing or obtaining the products. We then purchase these products directly from the supplier or through supplier agents. Products are stored in Wolseley warehouses and distribution centres before being bought by our customers. Our distribution teams ship products directly to customers or arrange collection from our centres or stores.
The Wolseley Supply Chain Vision is to evolve our network of distribution centres and branches as a ‘single entity‘ to provide a seamless ordering process from purchase to payment.
Our customer, North Canadian Diamond Mines, needed over 120 truck loads of pipe delivered in the depths of winter. Wolseley came up with the goods via 500km of road constructed entirely of ice.
