 Claude 'Chip' A S Hornsby - Group Chief Executive

Chip was appointed Group Chief Executive on 1 August 2006. He was previously the Chief Executive of Wolseley's North American division, having been President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferguson Enterprises Inc, the US plumbing and heating business, since 2001. He had spent 28 years with Ferguson. In his role as Chief Executive he sets the global vision for the group and is responsible for planning, developing and setting strategy across the business, providing leadership, guidance and market intelligence to the Board. Chip is also a Non Executive Director of Virginia Company Bank.   

Robert H Marchbank - Chief Executive Officer, Europe

Rob is responsible for all the European businesses. He first joined Ferguson Enterprises Inc. in 1982, and in 2001 he moved to the UK to join the newly- created Wolseley Group headquarters as Director of Strategic Planning and was then appointed as the Director of Information and Processes. Rob is responsible for leading all of of the European business operations to enhance the company’s market position in support of group strategy. 

Frank W Roach - Chief Executive Officer, North America

Frank is responsible for the North American businesses. He first joined Ferguson Enterprises Inc in 1976 and held a number of business roles. In 2005, Frank was appointed as Senior Vice President of the Wolseley North America management team, playing a key part in further developing and expanding the Group's North American businesses.  Frank has overall responsibility for delivering profitability and aligning the operations of Ferguson, Stock and Wolseley Canada.   

Stephen P Webster - Chief Financial Officer

Steve, a chartered accountant and formerly a partner in Price Waterhouse, has been a member of the Wolseley board since 1994 and has responsibility for all financial reporting, tax and treasury activities as well as compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Audit. In addition, Steve is responsible for Investor Relations and Group Corporate Communications and plays an increasing role in leading Wolseley’s external relationships with the banking community, analysts and shareholders. He is also a Non Executive Director of Bradford and Bingley plc. 

Rod Angwin - Group Chief Information Officer

With overall responsibility for delivering IT systems and processes across the whole Group, Rod also has responsibility for delivering the Business Change Programme. This includes building the core infrastructure of process and technology needed to support the Group’s evolving business. Rod has previously worked for Mars, Safeway and Meyer International (Saint Gobain) & B&Q in a variety of roles. During his career he has led international change and significant IT implementation programmes.   

Mike Grunkemeyer - Group Senior Vice President, Sourcing

Mike has responsibility for driving the Group’s global sourcing initiatives. He began his career with Ferguson in 1983 as president and general manager of the Tampa, Florida branch and since then has had a variety of roles, moving to Wolseley plc in 2004 to expand the international sourcing effort. He lives in Virginia but spends considerable time in Asia and Europe.

Derek Harding - Director of Financial Reporting & Strategic Planning

Derek, a chartered accountant, started his career with Price Waterhouse in 1995 as an Audit Manager. In 1999, still with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, he transferred to Raleigh, North Carolina as a Transaction Services/Audit Manager and in 2001 he was appointed Transaction Services Manager back in Birmingham, UK. In 2002, he joined Wolseley as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and in 2004, was promoted to Head of Strategic Planning. He took up his current responsibilities in 2006 and is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, accounting and internal control as well as the Strategic Planning process at Wolseley.

Bob Morrison - Group HR Director

Bob Morrison was appointed Group Human Resources Director in April 2007. In this role Bob works with the senior HR management across the Group, providing leadership and direction, ensuring that our people practices and Leadership Development are fully aligned and supportive of our business strategy.  Prior to joining Wolseley, Bob spent five years with Blockbuster Inc., where he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Operations for Blockbuster’s 3000 stores outside the United States and Canada. Additionally, from 1986 to 1994, he was the Vice President of Human Resources for Burger King Corporation’s International business. From 1994 to 2001, Bob owned and operated a retained executive search firm primarily in the United States.    

Richard Shoylekov - Group Company Secretary and General Counsel.

Richard Shoylekov joined Wolseley in November 2007 as Group Company Secretary and General Counsel. In this role Richard is Secretary to Wolseley plc’s main Board as well as the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committee. He also has responsibility for the Group’s Legal Affairs, Pensions, Insurance and Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to joining Wolseley, Richard spent the past four years with Corus Group plc as Company Secretary and General Counsel. Previously in his career, Richard worked with Freshfields, British Gas Exploration & Production and Eni.
