We’re a decentralised business, so perhaps you aren’t too familiar with our name. In fact, Wolseley is the world’s number one distributor of heating and plumbing products as well as a leading supplier of building materials. Group revenue was £14,430 in 2015/16.
From Ferguson in the USA, to Stark in Denmark, and Plumb Center in the UK, our businesses are some of the biggest and most successful names in their local markets.

An international perspective
We’re an international business, with operations in four regions: the United States, United Kingdom, the Nordic region and Canada and Central Europe. In all, Wolseley employs around 39,000 people.
However we’re a locally focused business too – the majority of our customers travel around 20 miles to a branch.
While most roles at Wolseley won’t have an obvious international aspect, our people are aware of a wider perspective. Our global reach gives us a great opportunity to learn from one another and share best practice, from Copenhagen to Virginia.
